When you have a mailing list in an Excel® workbook, you can use InterAction 365 to check whether the contacts in the list are already in InterAction+. And from that Excel workbook, you can add InterAction+ contacts to a new InterAction+ working list.
To add Contacts from Excel lists to InterAction+ Working Lists:
- Open the mailing list in Excel. Ensure that you also have logged in to IA 365.
-
Map the fields as described in Mapping Data from Excel.
Once you run the mapping, IA 365 reports on how many contacts from the worksheet are already contacts in InterAction+.
- Select the option to Convert results to table. This creates a new table in Excel with the output results rather than adding columns to the existing worksheet.
- Filter the results, selecting only the contacts who are identified as single/individual person contacts already in InterAction+.
- In the IA 365 pane, select the Create new working list button. IA 365 now provides fields for a working list name and type.
- Enter the working list name and working list type.
-
Click the Add to List button. The selected contacts have been added to a new working list.
You can go directly to the new working list in InterAction+ by clicking on the link provided in IA 365.
